FUNDRAISING

Your favorite Professor David Kirk Philp has helped raise over $100,000 for local charities since 2011 through music events. His company, YouChoose Music, produces annual events in which the audience chooses and pays for the songs in advance. The YouChoose Band performs the songs and everyone in attendance smiles. Revenue for these YouChoose events are raised through the aforementioned song requests, sponsorships, ticket sales, and merchandise.

In addition, Philp has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for William Paterson University’s Music Department through I Want My ‘80s MTV-themed events. Wow, that Professor David Kirk Philp just keeps giving and giving and giving. Someone tweet him a heart emoji.
